Silicon (SI) is the second most abundant element in soils, the mineral substrate for most of the world’s plant life – TurfGrasses. Although Silicon is not listed as a plant “essential nutrient” by State Fertilizer Regulator Authorities, it has been shown to enhance plant growth and metabolism, regulate nutrient balance and improve plant resistance to various biotic and abiotic stresses.
